As #TeamCSPH, (specifically, our awesome board member Gwen Rosen and a bevy of volunteers and interns past and present) gears up for this year’s east coast Sex Expo, we wanted to revisit the ah-mazing experience of our first trip to the Brooklyn bonanza in 2016! CSPH’s Melanie Lucash tabled at the expo with our Clinical Director Kira Manser, and had some great things to say about the two-day event:
Last year, the CSPH chose to table at the Sex Expo as an opportunity to engage with the amazing community of sex-positive retailers, educators, and attendees at the Expo. We were overwhelmed with how excited attendees were to meet a non-profit organization that shared their values around sexual health and wellness and sex education! We were deeply grateful to experience the outpouring of appreciation, support, and solidarity with our education, therapy, and professional development initiatives, and we’re excited to continue making these kinds of connections and building community.
